I spent an hour or so researching "how to ace job interviews" on Google, trying to memorize all of the helpful tips on what to wear, how to act, what to say, where to look, etc. But when I finally met Mr. Mark Rodriguez, I wasn't asked "What are your strengths and weaknesses?" or "Why should we hire you?"or even "Do you have any questions for me?" Instead, I just listened to the man speak nonstop for about 15 minutes straight which somehow translated to "You're hired."

I mean, being paid minimum wage for standing in a lobby for 6 hours without homework or music or a book to read and little human contact isn't exactly my ideal job, but there's nothing more I can ask for considering my poor excuse for a resume. So I am unbelievably grateful (though I may change my mind after my first day) for the Hammer Museum and their generosity in allowing me to come and infiltrate their artwork!!!!!!! Just kidding.

Although my red Pee Chee folder got soaked (with all of my Spanish work inside) along with my dictionary, planner, and notebook-- I guess the first non-rejection I've faced in a long while made today a lot better.
