paper heart trailer.

for the past two days, i've been filming senior interviews, and though it's somewhat time-consuming, i really enjoy them. i've already learned so much from the ucla seniors, but these interviews make their hopes, their opinions, their faith that much more solid and real. because now it's recorded, maybe not on paper and a pen, but on my hard drive. i feel kind of like charlyne yi in that movie trailer up there. which is pretty cool because i kind of like her a lot. i wish i had a video camera.. i would record every moment, from scenery to roller-coaster rides to strangers to funny stories. i want to capture real life in its raw essence. i want to interview the people who have a lot or a little to say.. like tibby, in 'the sisterhood of the traveling pants.' i think she was my favorite. or maybe lena. i always picture making films that are slightly obscure, but only because it'd be because they capture that naked simplicity in life when everything else is stripped away..
